I finally built up enough cash to buy the Ferrari F1 car. Boy, was that a disappointment. First off, you can only race in special "Ferrari F1" events or practice, and secondly the cars sound AWFUL. If you have F1 2011, play it right after racing the Ferraris on GT5. To think, that was my driving goal with this game (admittedly, I haven't played it a lot, but still what a disappointment).
In a nutshell, sounds in GT5 blow... literally. Perhaps they Hoover more than blow with a little phaze shift thrown in for good measure. Driving dynamics are IMO the best out there for street cars; and is still pretty fantastic for race car physics. If you want something better, you ought to opt for dedicated PC based Simulators.

hehe, It screams Hello Kitty. Too bad you can't customize out stripes etc. like you can with Forza. Since I hadn't played the game in so long, or connected to PSN, I wanted to see if the car trading tricks still worked I believe I have 1047 cars in my GT5 Garage; and 12.7 million credits left. I do hope the DLC is worth the wait lol.

I'm liking the sound of the 2.0 update. The DLC cars, on the other hand, are disappointing. Does anyone actually want a Prius touring car? How about some Ferraris instead of the countless NASCARs?
I got rid of my PS3 and GT5 long ago, but it's nice to see them still actually supporting the game. Funny how they released the update the day before Forza 4 launches and the DLC later in the same week.
Yeah I know but a lot of us saw this coming. As for the DLC packs within a few months the content well get better, I'm just happy we are finally getting Spa!
Yay for the 2.0 update! Will be downloading that ASAP. As for the DLC... that's just insulting. A single real track with 1 additional Kart track for $5.00?!?!?! Pathetic. The rest is just pathetic as well... who the hell wants to pay money for some new PAINT colors???
I'd pay 5$ for Spa Francochamps The touring cars are a joke... not sure if I'll buy that. and I think I'll play the tarmac race with the Ferrari F1 car before i get the update lol
I'll be buying the $11.99 full pack. I'll take the cars... Not what I was hoping for, but there will definitely be more DLC in the future. Excited for Spa Francorchamps for sure though! (And secretly the Stig suit + helmet )
I think 2 new tracks for $5.00 is fair. I'll bite. Honestly I'd pay that just for Spa. But I couldn't care less about the new cars and uniforms. In case anyone didn't know, this week under seasonal events is the Sebastian Vettel challenge. It's one lap around Suzuka in a Red Bull F1 car. Just for competing you get to keep the car for your garage, which costs like 10,000,000 credits. Its faster than the Ferrari F1. And the event pays out like crazy. Even a bronze medal is worth a million credits. Go get it. I think the car giveaway ends this weekend..
