Less than 2 weeks, we will be in LA for AutoRox..Anyone in for Lunch at Ivy @ 3pm thursday afternoon? They have a great lobster ravioli!

 

I'm en-route. Lobster ravioli sounds better than cold turkey rolls & an unripe banana. think we can take carry-out onto the plane?

 

Since most of the guys are coming in thursday evening, should we find out what club/lounge we should go to?

I rented a Lincoln Navigator with GPS. we'd be pimpin out there zen!
Clyde....i know u are on the same flight as me. if u need a ride from the airport to the hotels, u can ride with me in my Navigator

anybody else who is on my continental airlines flight on thurs (arrivng 630pm at LAX) is welcome to ride with me to the hotels if u dont want to rent a car.

 

Hey hubert - when are you flying back? I'm renting a car (either SL55 or 997 turbo right now) but will probably have it dropped off and picked up from my hotel. I'll be out there before you, so I'll have to find a way in on my own, but I think we both fly back Sunday night so maybe I can hitch a ride with you then Zen?

anyone need a ride back can ride with me to Hertz first...then we can take the free shuttle back to airport.

i wish my insurance paid more than $500 for rental cars. Otherwise i would have been pimp'ed out like u in some poser cars (mercedes sports cars)

No prob. Noah's flight comes in at 2pm. So pushing back lunch until 3pm.

 

Could still be close - especially depending what I am doing for car arrangements. I wouldn't want to hold you up, but I'd be more than happy to try to join you as long as I don't cause you to sit around waiting for me.

I don't have other friends in LA so why would I be too cool for you guys? Actually I do but they haven't been returning my phonecalls. !!

But between my flight maybe arriving not right on time, an unknown in how long or how involved things might be if I pick up a car right after arriving as opposed to have it go to my hotel... planning to go to lunch is probably a sure-fire way to make sure everything conspires to delay me by hours!

So, let's just wing it.
