All the chit chat and fun has got me really thinking...Is there such a thing as an F-car that sux? I know we are all partial to our own, but there's one we always want we don't have, but are coveting. Is there one you just wouldn't own?

My very honest opinion is no! I don't think any of them "suck"...some I prefer more than others, but I always get excited when I see one, whatever it is!

Honestly, they all suck on some level. And, they all shine on some level. You have to be more specific about what you mean by suck.

    Suck Ferraris, in my mind:

    4. 456 GT/GTA - huge depreciation, high repair costs, low values, almost zero respect. Still, this makes a well cared for one a great opportunity. A modern V-12 450hp Ferrari for less than $60K?! Dude! Just avoid the autoboxes.

    3. 365 GTC/4 - ugly, cheapest vintage front engined car and just as expensive to repair as a Daytona.

    2. 365/400/412 - boxy Bertone looking, but Pininfarina designed (must have had some spies at Bertone) that is really expensive to fix, not worth much and has a gutless GM autobox that only uses 2 of the gears (what were they thinking?!). 5-speed injected cars are less sucky.

    1. Mondial - the absolutely worst execution of a family Ferrari ever including the spider models, low values, subpar performance but still probably the best entry Ferrari out there. Mondial "t's" are spared this ignomy, but just barely.

As for the 308 GT4, suck it, this car is the least appreciated model that deserves respect. The only 2 308's I'd consider would be a '76 glass GTB or a '75 GT4 to provide the typical '70's exotic sports car experience. Once you drive one of these, you'll be hooked.

Agree, but if you wanted a total sleeper, these cars can be supercharged and the handling tuned to keep up with the Ferrari name. Just takes money to fix the deficiencies of the factory.
