Official Petition: Ferrari should replace Massa with Schumacher for 2013!

Crazy, I just heard something like this was being started. Good call Rob.

 

There's chatter that something like this should be started. Sabine (Michael's manager) was reportedly only speaking with Sauber at Singapore but I believe he is holding out for a certain phone call or he's retiring.

Regardless, I'll get this around and let you know if I can get into the thing.

 

The big winner in all this drivers shuffling is Massa. He's likely getting another year without any merit. Shame on Ferrari and Montezemolo.

Bring anyone in to replace Massa.

 

Maybe the reason why Michael is took too long to decide for him to stay at Mercedes or not was he wanted to see what happens to Massa seat?

 

Why. MS couldnt make his mind up about Mercedes and he should go to Ferrrari? No. Let him go the writing is on the wall. Sabine spoke to Sauber not Ferrari. Im enjoying all this as MS had his run and even Mercedes said enough. We cannot wait. We will take LH. MS Isnt committed. No thanks.

 

On shear abilities, Schumacher is better than Massa. But I am think Massa is better than Schumacher in team cohesiveness. It is Alonso's team now and IMHO, I think signing Schumacher at this stage of his career will be mistake.

Agree'd. He couldnt make up his mind about his OWN team. No need for this at Ferrari. Thats a clear sign to hit the farm in Switzerland. Game over.

That's just silly.

 

I do not believe that LdM would agree to signing MS. Their parting was a bit tense, and signing with MB was salt in the wound.

We really do not know what is goiing on at Ferrari, LdM is not stupid, so keepiing Massa may be a move to appease Alonso. Besides, who else is available other than Schumacher?

The only other possibility is Kimi. Not sure how he felt about getting his contract bought out.

But Kimi is not a control freak, he shows up, races fast, gets paid, and goes bar hopping.

He would get along with Alonso, but would Alonso get along with Kimi?

I actually think they'd be OK together. BUT, I don't think he has any interest in returning and seems plenty happy at Fauxtus - I don't think he wants to deal with the BS that is inevitable at Ferrari.

otherwise, ferrari has been smoked in this silly season.

 

Would be wonderful to have him back, even for one more season.
