vote or forever hold you peace.
My reasoning is two fold , its a Ferrari CAR forum, and secondly, since this new suv will be under warranty for at least 7 years, any person who decides to buy one and then has issues, can go to the dealer and have them sorted. I know this is a business for you, and that it takes precedence , I personally wont let it effect my passion for the forum. Big G
I vote yes, just to isolate that thing from the rest of the fleet. Suggested format: Trucks and SUVs F150 F250 Purosangue
Yes, but let's not call it SUV. Maybe Purosangue or FUV. Sent from my BBF100-6 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I voted yes. It’s not like there isn’t a precedent for separating out models into sub forums after all. There is a Mondial sub forum, as well as 360/430 separate from the 458. The Purosangue model is a whole new concept for Ferrari, and I would argue very distinct from the 812 or Lusso discussions. Anyhoo…doesn’t really matter much to me as I have zero interest in the car anyway.
Perhaps add the PS to FF/Lusso and have a seperate F12/812S ? If Rob tags it in with the Mondial there would be a few err raised eyebrows/ruffled feathers
1) Models are typically separated by underlying platform 2) You're right, the Mondial guys would be pissed to share a forum with the UglyHorse.
I would rather see those discussions confined to their own forum, so I don’t have to see it and be reminded how far these supercar manufacturers have fallen.
that's one thing I don't understand about the Purosangue fans, they love that it is a Ferrari, but can't stand it is a SUV that looks 90% like all others. fans can't have it both ways, accept it is a SUV. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not sure it's the fans that can't stand the Purosangue being a SUV. I think it's Ferrari that's telling them it's not a SUV. Probably just a marketing guy at Ferrari HQ, who had that brilliant idea... Sent from my BBF100-6 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
whomever calls the Purosangue an SUV hasn't seen the Car in Person nor has he or she understand the concept. Enzo Ferrari would have build this very much car already 5 years ago!
I don't hate the car. I don't care the company went public and sold out for a grocery getter. What I hate is people like you who have one on order and trying to defend it as anything other than a SUV that looks like all the other SUV's out there. As far as SUV's go it is one of the best and pretty cool it has a NA V12, but dammit stop trying to say it isn't a SUV and on the same level as the Ferrari road car greats.
So you hate people like me.... thank you for that. first of all you can do your grocery also in a 456, 612, FF or Lusso, pretty easy btw. and mine will bring me to Spa, Monza, Le Mans etc. Not sure if you have seen the car in person, it is very different then what you think she is when you see her in real life. much smaller than expected. An SUV should have much more room, a proper 4x4 (which the PS does not have, also not the Lusso or FF, the 4RM is NOT a proper 4x4) you can't tow anything or so and to compare it with a F250 is really a joke...come on. this is not a G-Class, its not an Urus, its not a Range Rover Autobiography or whatever. yes it is a car who probably doesn't fit in any scheme today. But Ferrari has done it brilliantly, they could have gone a much easier way but they went the Ferrari way. I was VERY sceptic when the car was announced but was fully convinced once I saw her in real life. I'm not blind, I dont buy everything Ferrari offers, I declined or canceled just recently 2 cars I had on order. I buy the car I like and fits my needs. My Lusso has close to 80'000km and I will be used less in the future so the Purosangue will do the Job. what bothers me more and that has nothing to do with the Purosangue is the constant decline in build quality especially of the interieur.... and that has definetly to do with the company went public.
Damn it, now I want to punch the like button 2,000 times for this post……my hands will be so sore I have to buy a SUV, won’t be able to drive a supercar
Before I vote, I want to clarify, is it hold your peace, or hold your piece? From Websters - Say your piece and hold your peace are separate idioms. "Say your piece" refers to stating your opinion, or your "piece" or "part" of the conversation. This is often confused with "hold your peace," which is often associated with marriage objections and refers to remaining silent and peaceful.
