Im selling my beloved HRE wheels and a fellow F-chatter want to know if they will fit on a ABS 328. Does anyone have the offset for that wheel?

    Thanks,

    Rob Garven

    here is my stock wheel

    218mm wide

    118mm backspace

    218 ÷ 2 = 109mm

    118 - 109 = 9mm

I think your second post has about the right calculation for the stock 308B/S/4 chassis design (stock using a ~+11? mm offset wheel -- but it is all starting to fade, and maybe I'm confusing B/S with 4 ;)).

It's always possible that your HRE set were not done in an exact way originally so maybe they are not so far off. With your HRE measurements and the 328 ABS offset numbers you should be able get a feeling for what's what -- i.e., what you really want to work out is where would the inboard and outboard sidewalls of the HRE set be located (compared to the stock 328 ABS wheels) when mounted on the 328 ABS chassis.

What are the width x diameter for your HRE set? Single size?

    Steve,

The rims are 7.5x16, they are 8 5/16 wide with a backspace of 6 3/16". Unlike you and most others Im not that good at math!! I measured the last post in mm and I swear its +/- 1mm. I think I measure better in mm!! :p

Here are the wheels, very sad too see them go

Beautiful wheels... if those were 17's I'd be wanting to buy them.
