Ogden Porsche

Well i havent posted here in ages but anyway i figured someone here may have some insight on what was going down tonight at the Ogden Napelton Porsche Dealership.

Anyway, I was driving past with a friend at like 9:30 and noticed a big white truck in the front of the dealership, figured they were getting some new cars delivered but then I saw crowds of people and more Porsches than normal out front. So I pulled on a side street next to the dealer and me and my friend went to see what was going on. It seemed like a GT3 meeting of some sort because out front there was probably 7 GT3's. If anyone has ever been to the Ogden Porsche you know the setup inside, but anyway right when you walk in there was a RS Spyder there, the la mans porsche...my jaw dropped at that point, than on both sides of that the racing version of the GT3 that porsche actually uses. Than a little farther back was a Red Carrera GT and behind that a white GT3.

I forgot to mention the fact that there was about 75-100 people there and my friend and I sorta just...walked right in and joined the party...It was literally a party because of the disco ball, DJ, food/beverage stand etc.

So I was just wondering if anyone knew what it was, my guess is a GT3 Meet but I have no clue.

The best part of the night was the owner of the Red Carrera GT got in and revved the engine up. Right when he started the car everyones eyes looked right over at the car and everyone walked over with there cameras and took pictures. His son then got in it who was probably 17 and revved it up till his dad told him to stop. I over heard the man talking to someone had he was asked "So what do you do with a car like this" and the owner replied "Well, To be honest I haven't figured that out yet". I just thought that was funny.

OH and I almost forgot there must have been a black carrera gt somewhere 'round back because as me and my friend were leaving it pulled out on Ogden and floored it. Then at the 2nd entrance of the dealership a black GT3 pulled out and they sorta raced. Regardless the tone on the Carrera GT is magnificent.
