It was brought to my attention earlier today that a black Enzo has not traded hands in the US in the last three years. Naturally, I went through my records and decided to do a full break down of US Enzos - ultimately focused on the black ones. So here goes... My records are incomplete, so this is the best that I can do at the moment. Currently, I count 129 Enzos in the US and Canada. Of those, I have color/confirmation information on 125. Rosso Corsa: 93: 41 with black interior, 5 with Cuoio interior, 1 unknown, the rest have red guts; 8 in Canada. Two unknowns believed to be red. Rosso Scuderia: 2, both with red interior. Rosso Dino: 2: one tan interior, one black interior. Argento Nürburgring: 2, both with black interior. One unknown believed to be Grigio Titanio. Blu Pozzi: 1, Cuoio interior. Extracampionario: 1, black interior (exterior color unknown). Giallo Modena: 12, just one with Cuoio interior - the rest are black; 1 in Canada. And finally we come to the black Enzos: 12: 4 with red interior, 5 with black interior, 2 with black and red interior, 1 with Cuoio interior. So where are they, and when did they last trade hands...? Let's go over them one by one. 131242: black/red, not for sale, we know where it is. 132332: black/black, not for sale, we know where it is. 132652: black/red, last seen in Orange County, California, May, 2007, on Nevada plates. Is it still in NV/CA...? 132664: black with black and red interior, not for sale, we know where it is. 133022: black/black, not for sale, we know where it is. 133118: black/Cuoio, last seen in Colorado, April, 2007. Is it still there...? 133918: black/red, last seen on the west coast. Is it still there...? 133924: black with black and red interior, last seen in California. Is it still there...? 133927: black/black, not for sale, we know where it is. 134281: black with black and red interior, allegedly spotted in Florida, August, 2008. Is it still there...? 134294: black/black, alleged to be owned by Rod Stewart (in addition to his red one). Anyone know this car's current whereabouts...? 134282: black/black, not yet in my possession...
We dont mind another black Enzo thread at all. What we mind is another black Enzo thread with no pics...
Joe when you clicked on *134282* at the bottom middle of NNO's page before you went to a link with dozens of black Enzo pictures... CH
It was just brought to my attention from a broker that there's a black Enzo for sale. I did not ask for specific details since I'm not in the market for one but did also hear that a black Enzo has not traded hands/been for sale in the past three years and that the price would reflect a premium over similar red Enzos for sale.
Carbon....I'm almost positive there is only 1 Rosso Dino. The car I saw in Florida with tan interior was Rosso Scuderia- http://www.flickr.com/photos/vodcars/2442147106/sizes/o/in/set-72157604733113281/
Um, yeah - really awesome. Almost as awesome as black/black. Image Unavailable, Please Login Touche! Please click here. Yes, that's this link here. Sorry - click here. Beautiful...! Here are some more... As far as I know, there are two currently for sale. But black Enzos carry with them an exaggerated mystique - sellers have refused to disclose the VIN every time. But a black Enzo is worth it. No, that's Rosso Dino (133929) - there are no Rosso Scuderia Enzos with tan interior (to my knowledge). I have in my notes that 133929 specifically has been confused with Scuderia. If you have pictures of both the PPG sticker as well as the VIN, that would certainly put this confusion to rest.
the OP says that you know where most of the black enzo's are, but doesnt actually state where most of them are, so Im hoping you can help me. I was told by a friend that a certain forbes 400 lister that owns a home in Shelburne, VT (very close to me) owns a black enzo, and I have heard of the sighting of one nearby from other sources, so Im hoping for even a simple yes or no as to weather or not there are any in my state. oh, and Im pretty sure there has been one sold in the last 3 years in the states. I saw one a few months back for sale that was later listed as sold. I forget the website unfortunatly.
A broker (AC in Beverly Hills) has most definitely sold a black Enzo within the last year. I sold one too, but it was not originally black so I suppose that doesn't count...
As far as I know, there are none in Vermont - but again, my records are incomplete; I may not have all US Enzos. Of course, the black Enzo in VT could be owned by someone who doesn't live in VT and brings it there occasionally. I could speculate for hours, but to my limited knowledge, there are no black Enzos in VT. Yes, I think we've all seen all of those images before. If I could ever see the car again, we'd have new ones. I'm interested in learning more about this... No, sorry, doesn't count - is that the one that's currently for sale in Geneva...? Yeah - unfortunately not for sale.
Yep! Photos taken May 20, 2008 in Denver. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Doug...! DOUG...!!! Great shots...!!! I don't suppose you have that first one in a higher resolution...? If you do, I don't suppose you'd be willing to sponsor my desktop with it...? Thank you for keeping us updated on this car.
Thanks for the compliment! Unfortunately I actually do not have higher resolution photos - since taking those photos I have changed both computers and cameras and then relocated halfway across the country. The originals are back home in Colorado. A couple more photos are attached as penance. Note in the final photo that some crazy person excitedly parked his car illegally in the middle of a lane so he could get photos of this beast! Great pictures, Doug - but I hope you go home soon. I would park illegally, too, if it meant seeing/getting pictures of a black Enzo. Looks like the owner actually drives the car. I just heard today that at least three black Enzos in the country have 10K miles or more - do you know if this is one of them...?
indeed!! the guy who owns that one above is lebanese in the same building where he lives there is another 3 enzos 1 black on german plates the other 2 are red
