    Dear Lamborghinisti,

Ohhh....I can say that as an owner now.

Well all is said and done. I bought a Diablo roadster from Cats Exotics. This time Kevin was the point man on this deal. The toughest part was waiting the 10 days it took to ship the car ( 4th of July and bad weather in Texas ).

For me this was a very stressfull purchase (not cats fault ) because 2 previous deals on other diablos fell through (cash sent then returned ) I kept expecting the worst and was dying to tell y'all but just couldn't.

    First Impressions.....

Well the doors of course ! .....just toooo cool for words !

I absolutely love the seating position. I always missed the pod and the dash sweeping away like my 308 of many years ago. My TR has a rather flat conservative dash.

Those crazy-big tires and the wing on the back.

I have the Diablo parked next to the TR in the garage. I don't think "conservative" has ever been used to describe a Testarossa but next to the Diablo...Hmmm. The Diablo is actually LOWER the the TR...wow !!

It took a few moments to get used to the windshield sitting so far away compared to the Ferrari.

    Funny comparison:

The Diablo trunk is much easier to put groceries in (proven yesterday) With the front opening and the single latch, it is much easier to open and close. With the TR, when you close it, it has a double pin at the top of the hood. You always have to pull your shirt sleeve down then close it so your hands don't touch the paint, then walk around to the passenger side and do the same. With the Diablo, you just open in the center and close it with a couple of fingers on the hood symbol.

Parallel parking ( with the roof off ) haaaaa haaaa haaaa haaa haaa

The not so good.... I have a " check engine" light already. Yep...It's a Lamborghini.

    Pics to follow soon...

Good analysis thus far, you are dead on about the trunk issue, much better on the Diablo than the TR. I already got the luggage for mine, can't wait to use it.
Hope the engine light is just a simple fix.
    Enjoy it in good health.
