    I was looking through some old threads on other events held at AT&T but wanted to know if anyone has some good info for National Championship Game.

    We're likely staying downtown (good idea?) and driving to the game in our rental (good idea?). I guess the big question is: where does everyone party after the game?

    At&t Stadium is in Arlington, halfway between Dallas and Ft. Worth on I-30. When you say staying downtown which one do you mean, Dallas, Ft. Worth, or somewhere else? ESPN will be set up in Sundance Square in downtown Ft. Worth.

    One in our group is flying out of Love at 6a on Tuesday morning.

    Downtown FW is ca. 40 miles from downtown Dallas. With Jerry World AKA AT&T Stadium half way between as said before. If you want to party in Dallas I'd look into the West End district and area around the American Airlines Center. If you want to keep it game specific, Sundance Square in FW with ESPN folks would be my suggestion. Was just there for work & there are a lot of nice bars, restaurants & venues. Heck, if you could somehow change your hotel at this late hour and find one in FW it'd save you a lot of driving headaches.

    Has the West End been cleaned up? Last time I was there it was all thugs in hoodies. Granted, that was 10+ years ago.

    Victory Park area around AAC should be good, but I agree with the others, Sundance Square in Ft Worth is the place to go.

    I thought so, but I'm from NYC originally, so my tolerance for seedy places may be higher?!? 😄

    Seriously though, I agree, Sundance Square would get my vote...T

    There are a ton of hotels in/around DFW airport. DFW is essentially right smack dab in the center of the 40-miles-on-a-side equilateral triangle that is the Metroplex. From there, getting to Dallas, FW, Arlington, etc. - even getting to Love Field - is relatively easy (as long as we don't have an ice storm like we did when the Super Bowl is here since we're not really built for dealing with frozen precip down here)...T

    Crap, I need to see if we can cancel our reservations in Dallas because that's a pretty strong endorsement for FT Worth.

    I'd make sure you can get reservations in FW area before canceling Dallas res. To be honest, am not hearing a ton abt NCAA game as everyone is focused on the Cowboys game...T
