Hello gents, for you is possibile eliminate the hose that come from the oil breather to the air intake air box? And put just a air filter to the breather and a cap to the air box?

Was just looking at that yesterday as I am in the process of changing crank position sensor’s . I would think it would be fine but you would have to address the two other vapor lines that also connect to the oil breather. Not sure anything’s to be gained by eliminating it unless yours is severely damaged and finding replacement proved impossible. 2cts.

I did just as you asked, what I experienced was oil vapor fogging the back window over time, back window is a pain to clean so I ran a new hose out of view and problem I created was solved

I am adding a catch can to the end of the hose to improve clean air in to the intake.

To what end? Any vapors from the oil line are combusted.

I understand the reason for wanting to do this but I’m pretty sure that is an air/oil separator and it requires the intake suction to provide positive crankcase ventilation and to create the centrifugal effect in the housing that causes the oil to separate and drain back to the sump. This device needs to be cleaned out periodically or greater amounts of oil vapor will be drawn through the intake.
