    SO looking at the 430 oil change diy, there are two plugs to drain the oil.

    Should these plugs ever be changed? My car has 30k miles and would really like to change them for my peace of mine.

    I cant find the part numbers to the two plugs. could anyone help?

    Unless you guys tell me they really dont need to be changed, i'll just do the washer and leave it alone.

    I just put new washers don't see a point on changing the plug

    Unless the previous tech /fyi tighten them too much and ruin threads.. new crush washers are all you need

    Safe process would be have them ready to change or change them once when you start taking care of car and then from that point on assuming you torque correctly ..just change washers

    There is also the process where you can reuse washer by heating them red hot .. to me just replace them
