    I'm in the market for a 458. My friend let me borrow his for the week. Quick question on regarding how to check the oil. I am assuming you check when it is cold as with most cars. I ask because my old school air cooled Porsche you check the oil when the engine is warm and running.

    You need a high IQ, a Master's degree and infinite patience. Oh, and if you miss the very narrow window during the check cycle you have to start over. :(
