What is the best practice for replacement of the two large stainless braided hoses to from the oil cooler on my 1988 3.2 Cab? I see Eurospares carries new replacements, they are expensive. But with all the need for replacement of fuel and coolant hoses, I see little talk about the oil hoses, and because of the stainless cover one can not visually see whether there is degradation. Assuming mine are originals, and I value my vehicle being reliable for daily pleasure driving, is it simply time to taked the price pain and replace these inportant hoses?

When they start leaking.....and a local shop for pressure hoses can remake them with your original connections....and much cheaper.
