On my 75 308gt4 there is a lever on the front of the oil cooler radiator. I've checked the manual and I think it has a setting for winter and summer driving but the illustration is not very clear. "up" seems to be winter and the "down" seems to be for summer. Is this right? Does anyone else use this lever or do you just ignore it? If you ignore it what position do you leave it in?

It's just a flap that either directs air into the cooler or not. IIRC you can pull off the air tube and see how it works. Regards, Vern
