IIRC, UFI 23 162 01 is one level old (so doesn't have the better seal design of the 02), but, as Dennis said, if you are in the US, the Baldwin B253 is better and less expensive than even the 02 UFI (try Grainger Industrial Supply - MRO Products, Equipment & Tools if you can't find a more local Baldwin source).

    Good choice!
I'm buying my filters (Not Baldwin) in pairs so I have at least one on the shelf. Shipping quote is the same (just to get some discount) and no waiting on it for a next oil change. :D

I use the Ufi 23 162 02 filter on my Mondial.

My parts supplier says my lancia Fulvia has the same filter.

I checked my logs and found 23 102 02 on my Fulvia. I did a check with the Ufi site, but dimensions are a bit of (0,5cm) on the dimensions from the seal.
But the filter is also installed upside down as on the Mondial.

Strange that the shop claims both filters are the same. I checked again with Mann and they claim also that both have the same filters.

I have used also Purflux, Fram and Knecht on my Fulvia. Gonna check it out

Filter on the left is on the Mondial, filters on the right went on Fulvia.
