The lube that I was using for my GTC transaxle is no longer available.
I had some old stock but it's gone.
What is the preferred modern replacement lube for the transaxle?

    THANKS, Bob Z.

Hi Bob, I used Redline MT90 with a little LSD additive. It improved the shifting, especially cold.

Hi, Jump - thanks for the info.
Is your GTC a 330 or 365? They had slightly different transaxles.
Where can the MT90 be purchased?

Hi Bob, I went to the Redline website to find a dealer that was right around the corner from me. I have used it in old Porsche transaxles too, it can make a dramatic difference in the shifting performance. Is your oil filter made of screen or fiber?
My GTC is a later 330 built in 1968

Thanks to all for the great info.
I switched to the Red Line and LSD additive and the improvement is amazing.
    I'm really pleased.
My car is equipped with the screen filter.

In my experience, the less LSD additive the better for shifting. The additive works against the synchros....too much and it can "crunch" on shifts

Hello and thanks for the suggestions.
I tried the Red Line and the car is shifting the best it ever has.
I took your advice and added the LSD fluid.
My GTC has the screen filter.
