Just got my oil changed and new spark plugs, idle jets cleaned at my sevice shop. Have never ever had a problem with the gauge-always 80lbs at speed (or pointing in the middle straight down)

Now gauge is bouncing around and even stays pegged while driving over to "0". Red light does not come on though and I am assuming that it's just a faulty reading. What could have happened during the oil change that could have caused this? Please help. Thanks

I believe the oil pressure sensor is located next to the oil filter, I suspect the wire from the oil pressure sensor is loose.

Make sure they didn't drain the gearbox and overfill the oil!

Good idea, it may have been bumped off/loose when they did the oil change. :) Although Ferrari are reknowned for poor quality gauges, maybe it is at fault and this oil change is coincidental. :p

I went ahead and took the car on a 400 mile vacation this weekend. Interestingly enough, when the car starts-the gauge is fine, it is only when its in gear that the problem starts. i'm taking her in on Friday to the shop and will post update. Thanks to everyone for submitting replies and good advice. cheers
