I have decided to endure the removal of the intake plenums in order to have them powdercoated... it was a 'fun' job removing the entire setup, but I was able to get it done... now I am waiting for them to get coated so I can start the fun of re-assembly. For those who have removed the plenums... has anyone noticed oil up in the Plenum? I found oil to be up in them on the 'front' of the plenums (so toward the front of the car) and on both sides... I'm thinking that it might be 'normal' since it was on both sides... it wasn't a TON of oil, but definitely enough to be noticable... I did see that the 'everydaysupercar' guy had a posting about oil hurting the valves, but nothing about being in the intake plenums... I'm hoping that others have experienced the same thing.

PCV valve recirculates oil gas to the plenum… and if you overfill oil level it will go directly to it as there’s no catch can..

Cleaning it will not solve the problem unfortunately

This is a result of overfilling the oil. Observe the proper oil measurement procedure (at operating temp with the engine running) and it won't continue to be a problem.

As @Giallo27 mentioned, the PCV valve is directly connected to the plenum so you will always have a little bit of oil residue in parts but it only becomes a problem if there's significant pooling of oil.

I'm pretty confident that it isn't overfilled... but when I do my next change, I will keep it slightly lower on the dipstick (I always check it the 'right' way, heated, running, flat surface, etc). I got the plenums back and they look amazing... I think I have a good idea of how to install them by putting the intakes in first, then attaching the plenums/throttle body second (so they will be attached to eachother and dropped on the intakes)... I'll post info if I am successful.
