Hi Everyone. My '85 Mondial QV Euro has oil dripping on the ground underneath it which looks to be coming from the where the "dipstick" holder connects to the block (see the 1st picture which is shot through the service panel area behind the rear seats). I am assuming this is an electronic sensor dipstick type of contraption as there are wires connecting to a part where it looks like a dipstick would normally go. I have not tried tightening it up further as it is tricky to get at when just laying under the car so I will be getting it on a buddy's lift at some point and trying that for easier access. Questions:
    1. Have any of you ever experienced this? Do you have any tips?
    2. Is there a seal that goes in here at all?
    3. What sizes are the hex parts? 23mm?
    Thanks!

Couple of opportunities for a leak there:

    https://www.ferrariparts.co.uk/diagram/ferrari/mondial-qv-coupe-cabriolet/016-lubrication-system

There's a copper sealing washer between the fitting 36 and the sump (the hex fitting is 24mm hex), and

The tube 14 has a (metal-on-metal) ball and socket sealing arrangement to fitting 36 -- think the nut on the tube may be 27mm hex (but not sure 308 and Mondial are the same).

If someone tried to remove the tube 14 without holding the fitting 36, the fitting 36 may have (wrongly) been loosened from the sump.

Great find! I was wondering what I was missing there. Big thanks for mentioning that.
