I'm fixing up several oil leaks on a barn find 308 gtsi from '81. Poor car sat for well over a decade. I'm having a hard time finding the correct part diagram for the rearmost camshaft on the driver's side of the car. Most of the diagrams show a vent cover. This car has what appears to be a pulley with a locknut and a hex plug dead center. Any explanations would be great. Pics would be better. There is some oil coming from this and I'm not even sure how to take it off. I'd rather not pull the valve cover again.

If it sat for more that a decade, I would replace all the oil seals including the shift shaft seals.
Not sure what vent cover you're talking about but I hope timing belts and bearings are considered.

Air pump drive system, find a US version book and it should show you all the parts that are missing that you probably won't find. You can still get the seal and cam plug if you need the plug. You need the seal for sure.

Can you determine if the leak is the hex plug or the seal behind the pulley? There also is a pcv hose from the rear motor to the cam cover. This can be a source of oil leaks.
