    I hadn't noticed an issue on mine. But then, I've owned Italians long enough that I don't pay any attention to factory gauges in turns. All the gauges are off when stuff sloshes away from the sensors.

    The floor and the dipstick. The factory shift shaft o-rings tend to leak, either to the floor, or between the engine and gearbox oil. If your oil gets dirty too fast, or winds up on the floor, you can figure you have an issue.

    Otherwise, I just try to keep the oil level in the top half of the min to max range.
    (I keep a full liter plus a partial in the boot, and top off as needed.)
    (Usually when refueling, as there's not much room on the right side in the garage.)
