Does anybody know the correct clearnce from the bottom of the oil pickup to the sump in a 246?
If all is standard, it should be self determining by the curvature on the pickup tube. Is yours bent? Regards, Alberto
The pickup tube was replaced or remanufactured during a previous ownership I gather during an investigation of the loss of oil pressure on tight corners. So I am not sure whether they got it right or I need to reset or remake the pickup tube and consequently I am interested in what the gap between the tube and the bottom of the sump should be approximately.
