I have a 73 246GT 'E-series' and the oil pressure warning light switch is missing - a bolt has been inserted into the hole in place of it. I can buy another switch easily enough but I cannot see any loose wire that will connect to the switch.

Does anyone have a photo of this switch and it's associated wire and where the wire comes from? The switch is shown as 65 in the TAV below.

Before anyone makes the obvious comment - I have checked the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge and it is fine.

Don't have a photo at the mo but the wiring comes from the loom running near the dizzy. My sender unit was not connected when I bought the car and found the single wire strapped to the loom. If you remove the rear wheel arch you can see the loom very clearly from there.

Sender units are available from superformance uk
