    Sounds like you have some seepage that then burns off.

    I've never seen any oil under the car.. must be dripping on the exhaust somewhere then..

    I noticed this as well.. thought it might have been due to armor selling the engine cover..

    Likely that your oil is overfilled, and you are smelling oil blowback into the intake. Look at the oil level check procedure. It is very fiddly but critical for the 599. You even want to run it a bit low. The blowby will ruin the MAFs as well.

    i had the same issue... got oil seepage... leaked out of the cam cover gaskets... got it replaced and all is well

    This happened on my 599, small rubber hose at the rear of the engine for the blow back system had split, but i had smell plus smoke on start up until it had burnt off.
