OK, be honest... how many of you "talk" to your F-cars?

Call me strange, even insane, but I do talk to my car when I am out driving... Even when I open the garage door and take my first look at the car, I often say "Ciao! mi bella macchina"

I know of at least one of you F-chatters who does the exact same thing, but after getting laughed at today by my best buddy for speaking Italian to my car, it made me wonder how many others do the same (come on, admit it!)

I do it, too, and I'll bet the guys who deny it aren't telling the absolute truth. I may be single, officially, but I'm "married" to that beautiful Italian sitting in the garage. I have also referred to it as "mi bella macchina" and will often say "buona sera" when I get home from work in my other car and pull in alongside. Crazy? But of course, but that's why I bought the car!

Brandon, you got me on this. I have been known to talk to several of my favorite cars over the years, especially when approaching after having been away, or just one of those times when their beauty or speed moves me. Good post!

Having a Mondial, I speak exclaimously more to certain individual electrical components. To save time, I often use the same appelation for most of them.

I must admit..I find myself talking to cars on a daily basis. Most of the time its not a very nice conversation. Usualy it intails various swear words and name calling. But once out of the shop, I do say hello to my car when I'm ready to go for a good drive. And if at the end of a LONG drive say over 4 hours and she behaves herself..she gets a pat on the dash, and a "good girl".

I can't repeat what I've said to the Mondial (Wheezy). It would make any sailors reading this blush.

The 365, on the other wheel, gets nothing but praise out of me. We lovingly call her the Little Red Italian Piece of **** (LRIPS1).
