1/20 F1 2000:
Dave, Thanks for taking out 30 minutes of your time to share your collection with us. Very nice indeed! All those remote control cars must be fun to screw around with
Yeah they are. The real bad boy is my Nitro-fueled 70mph R/C car. I'm going to put a F50 GT1 body on it after Xmas.
It kind of scares me how much of that stuff I have. I have the Hot Wheels dealerhip, the Lego F1 car, many of the books, at least that many magazines, 1/18's, and regular Hot Wheels. I even bought 3 of the new Hot Wheels this week, one rechargeable and two that are kind of 'blinged'. If it says Ferrari, I usually buy. Except for slutty Barbie!
You missed the thrid Barbie! After the "street" (walker) Barbie, she went thru rehab and came out "Gala Barbie" in a silk gown with tiara and diamond earrings! Sadly, she was last seen snorting coke in a Limo with Kid Rock, panties around her ankles. Well the gauntlet is thrown down! I'll try to scan some old photos of my bookcases, but a move has the entire collection out of chronological order! Glass doors help with the dust issue, although my Salvadorian housekeeper used to break off mirrors and antennas ALL THE TIME. It stopped when she died of cancer. I'll have to have another bookcase to get all of mine out in the new apartment. I too think I have most 1/18 Bburagos made. I finally gave it a rest as the upkeep of the 1:1 became too much to allow other hobbies!
Dave - BLOODY AWESOME COLLECTION...! Thanks for posting, dude, you have some really cool stuff...! i think, out of everything you posted, the 1:18 312 is my favorite... Very awesome stuff, i didn't even know they made a 1:18 312... Thanks for sharing... When you get a chance, we'd all love to see the other 1:18 Hot Wheels, Bburagos and everything else...
My wife, Becky, bought this for me Jan '03 at FAO Schwarz on 5th Ave (NYC). It was the last one they had and the ONLY one I have ever seen in person.
Dave328, I'd keep her! DES, 312 was a Shell Oil promo from first USGP in Indy. It was available at the gas stations! Came with a fuel drum and hose, also. JRV still has his in the box, maybe he'd sell it to ya! Signed, Santa's Bad Elf.
A friend of mine got me one of those at FAO Schwartz in NY, too. It is a neat set in 1:43 scale, so a little bigger than normal slot cars.
