Just looking for opinions here. I have an 04 575 that I love to death, as well as a 430 Spider that gets driven occasionally as it's at the vacation home.

I was just informed I can get a new 430 Coupe for list right now that would replace the 575. What do you think? Keep the 575 or get the 430 Coupe?

The coupe would be driven daily like the 575 currently does.

I think the 575 is the better car for daily driving.
I'm assuming both the new 430 and the 575 would be F1 transmissions, true?
The 575 has all that torque, plus it has a wide rear trunk (instead of the smaller cube-shaped front one in the 430).

Now, if you could get a 599 GTB for list price, that would be an upgrade (while keeping the trunk).

I seriously do not know why you would want TWO 430s
    So obviously the 575

A 575 as the daily driver and 430 for fun. Sounds perfect. I have the 430 and am considering adding a 575.

shoot for a 599, or if you really enjoy your 430 go for 2 why not.

No reason whatsoever to have 2 F430s, besides the F430 replacement will be out before long.

As posted above, tell them you'll take a 599GTB at MSRP! Otherwise I'd keep the 575. :)

Thanks for the replies everyone. I tend to lean toward the same opinions. I've only had the 575 since March so the "new" hasn't faded for me at all, and I looked everywhere for the options it has.

The sound of the 430 is what really does it for me. As powerfull and classy as the 575 is, the 430's exhaust note has the wow factor when you get into it. Maybe it's because I don't drive it as often. Supermodel vs Playboy Playmate.

Oh, and I COMPLETELY agree about the 599 at MSRP, but I don't think I'm THAT good of a customer yet. :D

If I were in your shoes...

I would sell the spider, and buy a Scuderia.

To me a 575, and Scuderia would be one awesome combo...

    575 all the way.

No reason in having two nearly identical cars.

By the way, just realized you're also in Oklahoma. If you don't mind me asking are you in the OKC or Tulsa area? Beautiful cars!

I have both and love it. If I had to pick one I'd take the 430 no question. mine live in the same garage and I get to pick which one to drive every day .... but if my 430 was in another state I might be tempted to trade the 575 in for another one - or put the 575 at the vacation house and bring the 430 to the daily driver location - although I'm guessing the cold vs drop top is your limiting factor here.

btw - the stock 575 exhaust is far too quiet for my taste. plenty of aftermarket options for that car. I replaced with tubi but I would probably go even louder in hindsight.

I too would like a scuderia and/or a 599 but I'm also not THAT good of a customer yet! to get one quickly anyways. ... and if you were going to pay the 2nd owner price on either of those you might as well just keep the 575 since it's barely a dent in the check you'd write for the new car.
