Thanks so much to JSL for selling me his rims. They really look terrific. Anyone need a spare set of 348 rims/tires by chance? After looking at these on my car, I knew there was no going back!

Thanks Mick for helping me get this photo on.

Definitely a plus -- it doesn't look "aftermarket" (and I'd still take stock 348 wheels over any other aftermarket). I like the 355 taillight treatment on 348s as well -- clean & appropriate (and would give a small premium for either on any 348 so equipped).

Nice upgrade! If you can store the stock rims, do. Keep them w/the car.

I agree with 91TR, these wheels look great on the 348! The only other wheel that looks good is the Speedline line used on the Competizione in the UK...seen the the Keith Bluemel Original Ferrari V8 book.

Nice!! It seems as though the rule of thumb is getting to be that the wheels of a next gen 8cylinder Fcar make the previous gen car look really sweet!!

Very nice! the car looks sharp.

Have you added spacers on the rear? If not, i suggest you do it - 15mm should be enough.

    Hey guys....

The wheels are a straight bolt-on, and you CAN use your 348 lug bolts with no problems whatsoever. I won't be putting any spacers on. It will make the wheels poke out too far. Heck, the new 355 tire is 10mm wider as it is on the front and rears.

Since those were my wheels, I might still have the bolts for them. If it ever comes up that you might need them, email me and I can look for them.

IMO the 355 challenge wheels are the best there are. On my car the track enlarged by 1.6" front and 2.5" rear with no spacers on an early track width 348. The challenge wheel even has an extra internal lip to prevent the tire bead from blowing at limit on racing slicks. Don't ask me how I know how important this is and why slicks suck on standard 348 rims.

If anyone wants, I have one brand new set of 355 challenge wheels. I also have a set of wheels that look a lot like the 360 challenge wheels but in 3 piece (also have a one piece set). And I have a set of 355 challenge wheels made for a spline hub TR.
