    Gwen had an alumni invite to a cocktail party (celebrating the latest opening of an exhibit at her old school) so we decided to check it out. Even though the 'theme' was Star Wars, I didn't think much of it until I walked in the door.. maybe a few costumes from the movies, some boring goth fashion students, etc.

    I was in for a very pleasant suprise. There was an X-wing fighter in the lobby, nearly all of the costumes/masks from the movies and even George Lucas in attendance (unfortunately I didn't even charge up my camera so the last pic is the only one I've got of the head Ewok).

    Yeah.. it's geeky, but it's well worth dropping by the FIDM campus in LA to check out if you're even remotely a fan (as I am). I talked to several guys who giggled like school girls after walking through the exhibit, and I don't blame them.

    Here's some pics.. the 'nasty' Darth pic will have to wait until our own resident Sith returns.

    Man, that's really cool!!!!! Thanks for posting.

    Had it been "alumni +10" and not "alumni +1" on the invite I would've extended it to everyone. Unfortunately it was out of my hands.

    At least I showed up at Crystal Cove two weeks ago.. what happened? ;)
