    Hello All,

Most of you probably have no idea who I am. Other than a few posts pre-election in the Political section I have been flying under the radar. Oh, there was an alternator/incredible stupidity incident, well I guess that was me too. In any case I came home tonight to find that I had a brand new 328 GTSi sitting in my garage!! No, I'm not hallucinating, nor is my wife a goddess of mythic proportion. (Well actually she is, but that's another thread entirely.) It was/is my car, I just didn't recognize it as such. When I wandered off to work this morning at 6 I left my supposedly pristine 328 snug in its nest, knowing that Bob "The Auto Concierge" was going to be paying a visit. Mind you, I didn't invite him per se. He was offered by Brian Crall as a token of ???? (Brian will claim that he took longer than he would have liked to finish the work on my car. I on the other hand will claim that he and Kris did excellent work, at a reasonable price, and I told him to take as long as he wanted to. Notwithstanding my protests, I am glad I took him up on his offer of a complimentary service by Bob "The Auto...") So anyway, back to my new car...

Holy Sh__t!!! If this guy can do this to my car, he must be gifted in ways that are unfathomable to me. I am a hands on guy. (Witness the incineration of my alternator. Hands on, at least until smoke appears.) I figure I can do anything if I put my mind to it. Dream on idiot!! Today Bob did something I previously would not have believed. He took an immaculate paint job and brought it literally to life. Even my wife was awestruck by the difference. (Sorry hon..) My problem now is if I drive it it won't look as good so.... Dammit!! Drive it..No!!! Drive it Dammit!! No.....AKKKK!!!!
Bottom line folks: Brian Crall and Bob "The Auto Concierge" both represent honest and capable value in their respective markets. If we as a community don't support the likes of Brian and Bob we will be left to the whims of Ferrari NA. (Please NOOOO!!!!) All in all I couldn't be happier with either service provider. My Ferrari is a stretch for me, having people that support it without seeing dollar signs is priceless. Thanks Brian, Thanks Bob.
Now if I can just get up the gumption to pull it out of the garage...

    Cheers,
    dce

Bob is indeed an awesome detailer. The best I've ever seen. He did my 360 a couple months ago. He detailed Art's car last wk and I saw it at the Delta Dash. I could spot the shimmer a parking lot away. Excellent work Bob!

David, thanks for the praise for something I enjoy doing every day. I tried to attach some pictures of your car but the file was too large to upload.

As Vincent355 said, drive it! I can always come back and clean your car again.

Having met Bob and seen the results, I can't say I'm in the least bit surprised! A stand-up gentleman and clearly very talented.

Somone PM me on how to upload pics and I will put a few in. I took a few last week up at Canada College at dawn, unfortunately before it was detailed. I'll try again when the sun returns. Still, not bad pics though.

As to the drive it issue: Its raining!! (Believe me, I drive it- 5500 miles in 5 months!!) Tomorrow should see me fliying down 280.

As to the road trip idea:Noooooo!!!!! He said, running down the street as he ripped off his clothes, the police in hot pursuit... My first day with Pietro was 1150 miles, 20 hours, non-stop from Washington to the Bay area. I still shudder at the thought. (Hey!! Do you see that 328 zig zagging down 280 @ 1230 in the morning?? Boy that guy must be stoned or drunk or both!!)

Rich- Ummmm. I tried out for the stupid male of the month club two weeks ago today. (As in: He punched the wall and the wall won. C'mon, everyone sing it now...) They're still debating whether or not to do surgery. In any case driving the 328 is a challenge, a go cart is definitely not happening!! (Although if I have the time I might stop down and say hi.)

Thanks for all the positive thoughts, especially for Bob and Brian- again well done.

    Cheers all,
    dce
