I do not have any current pix of the car itself..It was sold in 2005, however there are pix of the car on the internet... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Cooling, I'd presume. Some belly pans help it, some hinder. Seems the market for this part may ultimately be a single person - The one with 0360AM.
Of course it is worth millions: the car can't be certified by Classiche as it is missing its' original belly-pan.
I see the market as anyone...there are some people that collect model cars because they cann 't afford the real thing. The same thing could be said with these old parts....for example, I'd love to own an original 250GTO motor...have it set up as say a coffee table in my game room or on display in my garage....hell, I can't afford the whole car....
Actually F308jack is correct, the piece is worth millions, now you only have to locate the rest of car !!
You seem to be a gentleman with good intentions. It's nice for you to step forward. I and many more among us probably have old parts for no other reason than they were not to be found when the car was sold.
hi greg, I was following this interesting thread... anyway, I have a small ferrari 375 mm blueprint that I've had for years; you are the first person I've seen with an mm. I can email you a scan if you want. pls send me your email address or respond to [email protected]. stuart
Hey Len, sorry to take the thread off-topic, but what's under the cover in the background. Is that 83G04 or another interesting toy?
Wayne....that was very observant of you....and how did you know that? You are correct, you know....it is the Al Holbert/"Kreepy Krauly"car that won the 1984 Daytona 24.....(a side bar...I am also considering selling that car, also).... Great car, what a blast to drive....but just to fast for me...
I know that you had it in it's CRC-sponsored livery for some time. From what can be seen through the cover here, it appears to be back to Daytona '84 Kreepy Krauly livery. Excellent decision, if you ask me! (Still needs a set of gold BBS wheels, though. )
I agree on the wheels..this is what it looks like today...(pic was taken at last years 50th Ann. of the running of the Daytona 24hr) Image Unavailable, Please Login
(the bellypan, that is)...I know it came from 375MM, #0360AM. was a part of that history..there inlies the value.... I was going to clean it up and hang it in my garage along with a pic of the car and its history...as a backdrop to the cars I have in there already.. but again...back to the value.....?????
Maybe I could buy that, send it to Classiche and have them build me the rest of the 375MM??? Would that work??? PDG
