Hey Everyone, So I get a call from a recommended dealer in Florida that I've been talking to and told me I can order a 360 Stradale (AWESOME). But I need to have a Florida billing address. Is there a reason why this is necessary? MOST IMPORTANT...Anyone live in FLORIDA? hehe..The quest for the 360 continues. -John
I believe he said the dealership would only let Florida residents order one. The dealership is in Florida. What I wanted to know was if there is a disadvantage for someone to order this car out of the state where the dealership is located? It puzzled me why someone outside the state can't order one... You know what I'm going to ask him that tommorow. It just ruined my day. -John
Probably restrictions that Ferrari NA puts on him so he doesn't arbitrage his allocation(s) across the country (to people like you).
Thats right Vik, Ferrari NA doesnt like dealers selling NEW cars out of their territory, used cars is fine though
Great...Either I go buy a house in Florida or I'm f*cked. I'm open for suggestion (Just don't offer me a house in Florida).
John, Contact Frank @ Classic coach, www.ccferrari.com , tell him your problem and let him know I sent you, he might be able to help you out
Thanks for the info. I was going to head by there with Noah as soon as a Stradale comes in. I'm going to give The Collection, the dealership I've been contacting, a call tommorow. The guy I talk to there is Steve and he's top notch. Hope the sale for your spider is going good~!
John, the reason I refer you to Frank is that he owns Ferrari of Central Florida.. Maybe he can help you out with something because I have seen him deliver a new car in NJ
Yeah I agree with Utkarsh. Contact Frank. He should be able to help you. If that does not work, try getting a PO Box in FL or having a friends address, assuming you know someone in FL.
yeah Frank seems to be a great guy... offered me a pretty good cup of espresso...bueno! =) can't wait to go back there again... whenever you're ready John =)
Hey Utkarsh, I will definitely have a talk with him (Frank) soon. Thanks for your help. Young, We'll stop by when my brother has time. The decision has to agree with him also. ****, lets try to go there next Saturday or something. Aren't they getting it in around that time anyway?
if you live in NJ this should not be an issue since there is no dealer in NJ. If from NY, CT or PA you are screwed since there is a dealer in your state
The dealer told me it would be less than a month. I'm going to talk to him again today so hopefully we can work something out.
you just called a f-dealer in Florida and he gave you a stradale within one month? i am just curious as to the stradale market. it seems like there is no demand for them.
get a pobox in florida have al the ferrari paper work maile dthere and have the mail fowarded 2 you here. did that when i needed a florida mailing address to get some animals.
for real?? can u PM me the dealer info? i am not fighting u for stradale, but if i can pick up a coupe at msrp with minimal waiting time i am going for it.
A member from nsxprime just posted he is recieveing delivery of his Stradale this sat after waiting 1 1/2 years. He is from cali
I asked him today if a PO box is ok and he said he can't use that. I just need a billing address in Florida and everything else can be from New York. I'm doing it this way and he's doing me a favor in order to get the car at MSRP. Now as everyone knows, ordering one does not guarantee one for you. But my dealer said he will do everything in his power to get me one. Sorry for the mistake...ONE YEAR..not month...I wish it was.
