OK, I just went through the entire dis-assembly of both doors on my 77 308 (to install new window motors), so, I have your answer!

Simply remove the armrest! 2 machine screws, and 2 nuts w/ washers, and the armrest will come loose. At this point push the switch out by sticking your fingers in through the back hole.

Important: Don't screw up the wiring/connector sequence. There are 3 upper and 3 lower wires. I recommend wrapping each set of 3 in electrical tape, so you can't re-arrange them. The previous owner of my car did this, along with writing some sort of code with a Sharpie on each plastic connector.

Why are you wanting to remove your switches? Are your motors non-functional? I have 2 perfectly good, original window motors I'll let go cheap>>>!

(I replaced them w/ aftermarket ones, hoping for more speed...didn't happen. We're stuck with slow windows in 308s becaise of the ancient cable/pulley design. Yes, everybody, I lubed the entire she-bang, to no avail..... Getting good voltage too......)

Greg thanks for the motor offer but I think its just the switches, the windows moved fast but u have to push the switch just right to make windows move at all. I'll remove the armrest tomorrow.
    Thanks
