    I need another location to drop the car on jack stand for a period of time (apart from normal lift points)... until I install my manual gated conversion :)
    I guess it's ok to use these hard plates around the lower arm , this part of the car will sustain the full weight in corners, etc ? I am not confident anywhere else around the lift points, seems that body is not reinforced....

    try tapping the floor with a light hammer, you can hear the difference in tone in the strong parts. I lift mine in that area

    Should be fine to support a 3000# car there w 4 pts of contact…. Net load = 750 lbs per lift point

    just stay on the beam
