    Hey all
I was reading a non-car related board, and I saw a post regarding a red testarossa. Upon reading it - it said:

Looks like the owner pissed some people off :)
Here are some other posts I found about it:

That's a few highlights :p Basically the moral of this post is this guy nearly got his car badly damaged :D

Unfortunately the outright stupid, inconsiderate act of this person immediately brings out the frustrations of those who give a damn about other people. Or no, instead just let someone who is coming across the intersection trying to avoid his TR, hit someone else who then winds up on the sidewalk hitting a pedestrian who is then killed. Blowing off steam in this fashion is better than doing the act itself. This guy doesn't care about anyone else so it's just reciprocation. Let's face it, the guy's a JERK, period.

It looks like some kind of car event at one of the businesses, it appears to be an orange Lambo, and two other cars I can not identify parked along the yellow curb too. Maybe they had the lane blocked off for the day?

yes longhorn in downtown columbia let us block off the street. we had the TR, gallardo, 360, esprit, diablo, mercedes all on one part then past the entrance was another gallardo and a viper and a hot rod. everybody that came by as we were outside didn't seem pissed and there isn't a reason for anybody to be.

Good point, you never know. It looks to me that the barricase is on the other side of the white line so hes not blocking off traffic. if it caused a thread to other motiriest im sure the police would have moved it away of atleast out of another lane. not to say if a guy parks and then move barracades to block off his car is ok, kinda funny though

Those people are often liberals, jealous, incapable ...Brainwashed by the liberal teachers and news media. The cars came from the FerriFest Event that raised a considerable amount for Family Connections, for ill children. The police put up the baracades.

Well then that changes things considerably. The impression that was given made it seem like this person came out of the blue and selfishly made his own parking space just for his benefit. If this was not the case as you say and the police set the barricades up for his vehicle and others for a planned event, then I retract my original comments completely. If not, then it stands. I hope it was because of the event.

Longhorn's and the Local police had it set up for us to park the cars out front. I didn't notice a drunk guy on a Motorcycle hit a barricade though. Wow people will go soo far to ruin a good time.

I am the owner of the car in question and parked it that way at the direction of the City of Columbia Police Department. I had my car at the Ferrarifest Charity event and afterwards all the car owners parked out in front of Longhorns and went in for a recap and dinner. I am apalled at some of the comments of fellow Ferrarichatters. I was doing something for Chairty and to see these comments was astonishing. In the future, if you don't know what is going on then keep you ******** mouth shut!!!!!

Oh heck YEA! I carry a couple of those 10' -0" A barriers hanging out the window of my Ferraris ALL the time in case I want to park ANYWHERE!

ROTFLMAO! It's obvious other cars are parked ahead of him!

I'll even give him points for BRAVERY for being the rearmost car at the event. In Houston some foriegn national with no insurance would hit the darn thing......after crashing thru the barriers!

We have to post a dated City Permit in the front glass, but my Ferrari Art Car is parked in Zones, at many events.....

Good on him for participating in the event, why are haters like that?
On some days it really bothers me..........

I would post up last weekend's Art Car event where I toured my car thru six schools and 3000 kids, talking with ALL of them before rolling in the Parade for 200,000....

But...bottom line......you do it 'cause you ENJOY it......I had two lil' guys follow me around the whole darn parade! LOL! I think they'll buy one someday!

The poor "usefull idiots" have no idea they are even "brain washed". They just don't get it. Perhaps this article will help explain....it happens every day in the classroom, when young minds are open to this sort of technique. Communistic ideology. Why are the democrates so like this?

Limestone High School science teacher and state House candidate Steve White, left, lost his job after about 4½ hours of debate at a hearing Tuesday night.

    Limestone teacher loses job
Allegedly showed students inappropriate Internet clips

ATHENS — During a meeting that lasted about 4½ hours, the Limestone County school board voted to dismiss a teacher accused of showing his students sexually themed Internet videos.

Soon afterward, a state Democratic Party official said Steve White also could be removed from the ballot in the upcoming election in which White is a candidate.

School board members voted Tuesday night 6-1 to cancel the contract of the West Limestone High School science teacher.

Board member Roger Whitt cast the lone "no" vote, saying he did so because he didn't believe White deserved to lose his job based on e-mails White received. Whitt did not elaborate after the meeting.

The hearing started at 6 p.m. and ended at about 10:30.

White was accused of showing inappropriate Internet materials to eighth-grade students. He asked for a closed hearing before the Board of Education.

Among the board's findings leading to its canceling White's contract was a charge that he showed students an Internet clip depicting a former president and his wife engaged in sexual activity. Another charge was that he showed students a computer image of a girl exposing a breast.

White's legal team included Athens attorney John Plunk and Alabama Education Association representative Emmitt Jimmar.

    Forensic auditor

Jimmar said the board viewed a clip of a forensic auditor who reviewed images on White's computer. But Jimmar said he did not understand what process the auditor used or what images were in question. He said board members briefly mentioned an anti-Bush video that White showed students but concentrated on e-mails he opened and that some students saw.

After the meeting, White said he will appeal the board's decision. His attorney from Birmingham, William Dawson, said they will file an appeal, which means, because of a new state tenure law, the case will go into arbitration.

White will remain on paid leave until the end of the appeal process.

White is also a candidate for the state House District 4 seat. The Alabama Democratic Party said Tuesday afternoon that he had not withdrawn from the race as it had requested.

    Forcing White off ballot?

Zac McCrary, the party's communications director, said a subcommittee of the state party's Executive Committee will look into the situation and explore options including forcing White off the ballot.

White's supporters and relatives of those testifying grew tired of standing in the hallways and took turns sitting on the steps inside and outside the office and feeding money into vending machines awaited the board's decision.

Family and friends hugged White's wife Dale.

Before the meeting, a father said his child and at least two other students were to tell board members what they saw in White's class. A screen was in the boardroom so that members could watch the Internet clips.

    Paid leave

White has been on paid administrative leave since April, when parents and students said he showed his students an animated Internet video about former President Bill Clinton, which included sexual content, and made students say "John Kerry rocks" before they could leave his classroom.

White previously received a letter of reprimand in his personnel file in March for another incident in which he showed students a derogatory Internet film about President Bush that included the word "a—hole."

    It was White's first reprimand.
