Who here on this board, has most Ferrari's on their street? I have one, a 308 GTB and that's it.. Could be fun to see if anyone have a unusual high number If there are other cars, they can be mentioned too and as a bonus, you can mention number of Fezzas in your neighborhood too Sorry, but I am a little bored and I don't think there have been a thread about this
I live on Via Abetone, Maranello. I win. Hahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa, just kidding. Only mine, that I know of. But who knows what's hidden in the barns.
Interesting thread! Im sure I have heard of a few guys here with a few in their neighbour hood, I dont know about their street. I have the only one in my street, and up until 3 months ago.............I had the only Ferrari in town.
Hehe I thought of it yesterday, and said to myself I had to post it soon.. And then I was bored and remembered it - So here it is
Two, my 308 and a guy with a black 355. I'm sure there are people with a lot more than that! hey I'm winning!
I don't know where he is, but there is a black 360 somewhere in my neighborhood. I have too much respect for the guy's privacy to follow him home... one day I'll catch him at the gas station and say "nice ride"...
None in my garage, but there is a man down the street that just bought a red California and further down, there is a guy that owns a silverish-blue 360 Modena, black Bentley Continental Flyins Spur, and some old Rolls-Royce. The house in back of me (opposite street) has a Corvette collection with about 4 or 5 Corvettes. 3 streets down, there is a guy who has a Pantera, and some other older cars. Do I win? -G.B.
None in our garage. None in my neighborhood. there is a Maser GT and our 996TT. The only nicer cars here. HOWEVER, the neighborhood across the street has 3 360's that I know of and I heard rumors about a silver Enzo. I HIGHLY doubt that.
Not all on my street, but within a block or two of my house are: 1 - 308 3 - Lotus Esprit 1 - Lancia Scorpion 1 - Lancia Beta Zagato 1 - Porsche 944 1 - Jaguar XJ6 6 - Corvettes of various years from a 1968 Stingray to a C6. 1 - Lotus Elise 2 - Porsche 356 1 - Porsche 911 (in Gulf Blue! ) 1 - Porsche 914 with a flat six, rally car clone 1 - Lola Formula Ford 1 - Supercharged Jaguar XK8 convertible 1 - DeLorean 1 - MGB 1 - old 1940s hot rod 1 - new Dodge Challenger Plus several other classic and muscle cars, possibly another old British car (I always see it under a cover when the garage is open). Reading between the lines: The Elise, 356s, 911, 914 and Lola all belong to the same person; and the 308, three Esprits, Lancias, 944 and XJ6 are all mine. The rest of the cars, however, are each owned by a different person. My neighborhood is full of classic cars, especially Corvettes. And everyone has a boat. And in the winter, they have snowmobiles and ice boats. My neighbors like their toys! There is another Esprit less than half a mile from me, too; nice that another owner of such a rare car is so close!
<----Only Ferrari in town There are several Porsches around. There is a 911 a couple streets over (that guy actually has 2 914s too). There are a ton of Corvettes, Chargers, etc... around, so not much thats really spectacular. I have, however, seen a Noble a few times - probably the most spectacular car in town IMO. I hear that there are a few Gallardos here, but I have never seen them. PDG
In neighbourhood...(I suppose you could call it that) 3x Gallardo (used to be 4 (my friend had one but sold it)) 1x Ferrari California (guy used to have a 599) 3x 360 (1x CS) 3x F430 (1x 430 Spider) 1x 599 1x Diablo 1x Ferrari 308 1x F355 2x? Continental GT 1x Aston V8 Vantage Insane numbers of GTRs, Maseratis and Porsches.
I live in Tokyo which has a pretty high density of Ferraris. In about a one block radius, people own: 1. Four 430s (two spiders, one coupe, one scuderia). 2. Two 360s (one spider, one CS). 3. Three 355s. 4. On beautiful red Dino. For some reason, twelve cylinder Ferraris aren't big here. Used 599s are only about 20% more than a comparable year 430, and 575s are often cheaper than 360s. Incidentally, there are a number of Italias available. At $340K or so...
Winner! The neighborhood must be spectacular, got any pictures? Or is it one of those giant parking garages?
7 houses on my street: everyone has a few toys ferrari 360 ferrari dino ferrari 550 noble m600 lambo gallardo porcshe boxster genuine shelby cobra jaguar xk
None on my street, unless you count cars that are "Almost a Ferrari".... Oh, and 2 Fieros that could turn into Ferraris at any time!
LOL. I bet there are even more than that; that's all I know from what I've seen when I go past when coincidentally the garage doors are open and I can see inside. No one parks nice cars on the street, most of the cars on the street are like BMWs, Mercs, Lexus-es, and for those who aren't as caring about their cars, Toyotas, Hondas, etc. I used to live on the same street as a guy who sometimes parked his white Continental GT, Panamera Turbo and SL55 on the street. That's pretty rare, though. I think there are 5-6 GT-R's here, but again, I could be wrong. Plus I think there's a guy who drives a 360 to work occasionally AMG Mercs are also plentiful, but BMW M cars less so. You'd probably be shocked at how many BMW's and Mercs there are here; on my street (which is not one of the expensive ones LOL), there is a BMW outside my house, a BMW opposite my house, two BMWs two houses down, a BMW two houses down and opposite, and a BMW at the other end of the street. I don't know why either , some guy opposite me also has a matte dark green Hummer H3 (two of them as far as I know in my area). Oh, and I forgot to mention that there's an orange Hamann Cayenne which is INSANELY loud. I'm not entirely sure but I bet most of the nice cars are owned by 'rich' people rather than enthusiasts, apart from several houses I know, which are: Ferrari 308 Pink/Purple Lamborghini Diablo Roadster Old Rolls Royce Old VW Beetle Jag XJ and I think he has another classic tucked inside his garage... then my friend's place Nissan GT-R Bentley Continental GT Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (sold) Lamborghini Gallardo and another house on that street... Ferrari California (was a 599) Lambo Gallardo SL55 AMG S-Class Merc and another... Lambo Gallardo Porsche 996 Turbo Porsche Boxster Ferrari 355 and Ferrari 360 (ex-Lotus Exige) Porsche Boxster Maserati Quattroporte Subaru Impreza STi (new) There's also a guy who I've seen keep his Bentley Continental FS in an OPEN garage, outside the perimeter of the 'neighbourhood' (it's kinda like a private estate, I suppose). I find that kinda strange because the house is old and dirty and he has a Bentley in the garage Also, there are occasional interesting visitors...see a blue 360 Spider occasionally come in, my dad says he saw a red DB9, I saw a 430 Scuderia and LP560 Spyder, and then finally, a F40 zooming past my house twice Mind you I'm pretty sure those are visitors and not residents (not sure about the DB9, 360 and 430S). AMG Mercs are plentiful, but as far as I know only two C63's; the rest are E63/55's, CLS55/63s, and S63s. No 65's though , but there are 2 S600's that I know of (one old one new). Porsche Boxsters, Caymans, 911s and Cayennes are all very common - no Audi R8's, though. Maserati QP's are almost common at times, depending if the owners park them on the streets. GT's are rarer, but not uncommon - I think there are 2 or 3 around here. There's also a blue GranSport. I remember once one of the CS's flew past my house and my mum was complaining about how loud it was I also remember seeing two rather spectacular wedding convoys...first one was while in my house, when I saw an Audi TT Convertible drive past. Looked out of the window for a while and then came a 430, two Cayenne Turbos (one the insanely loud one), two 911's and then an orange Ford Mustang. Was a pretty big shock. Then another time I was waiting for the bus and saw a convoy of only white cars, led by a 997 GT3, followed by a Z4 and some other cars including a S600 - not sure if that guy lived there though. And keep in mind all this happens in a place where most of the cars I've mentioned are subject to 100% tax
