    This stupid search bar with an "X" at the opposite end appears in every picture. When I click the x it will go away, but it is super annoying. I ran CCleaner AND Avast, neither one picked up anything. Ideas?

    P.S. Also tried googling it, but to no avail.

    Every picture or just that site?

    What browser are you using? Check what addons/toolbars are running.

    It happens on a lot of websites, msnbc, the chive, etc. I've also noticed I keep getting a bunch of pop ups every now and then so i'm wondering if it is because I have some popup blocker disabled??

    Edit: Interesting... after looking at my add-ons manager for firefox, it showed me that avast had been disabled. But never mind it still shows up, bummer.

    Edit #2: After restarting firefox, it seems to have fixed it. What a pain in the ass, and I have no idea how avast would have been disabled either, ****! Thanks for the tip btw.
