Oklahoma Ferrari Owners Group

I've been pretty disappointed with the Ferrari Club of America, particularly the Oklahoma/Arkansas chapter. It seems like there hasn't been any activity for several years, essentially limited to collecting membership dues and sending out membership stickers. Given this situation, I'm gauging interest in something new.

My idea revolves around either establishing an alternative to the FCA, similar to the way BMW MofOs broke away from the BMWCCA, or creating a new chapter of the FCA that is more centered around the OKC and Tulsa areas. My aim is to keep the commitment level relatively low. Initially, I'm thinking of organizing one event per quarter. Some potential activities could involve renting Hallett or Thunder Valley, touring Route 66 attractions like Pops in Arcadia and the museum in Clinton, arranging a weekend trip to Arkansas or the Talimena Drive, Formula 1 watch parties, and generally expanding resources for those willing to share tools or assist with garage projects.

A key objective for this initiative is to cultivate an inclusive atmosphere that avoids any sense of pretentious competition and instead, places emphasis on celebrating these remarkable cars.

In the meantime, I've started a Facebook group for anyone who is interested and still actively uses it.

P.S. Also if anyone has an idea for a better platform than FB to run a local group with a large installbase I'm all ears. I jumped ship 10 years ago and recreated my account just recently.
