Going through some stuff to put on ebay this past weekend, I came across a couple of old Bburagos. First is a 1/43 348tb "Challenge" - but appears to have european markings, vice the US series. Second is a 1/24 126/C4 (which I *think* I've seen discussed here before). It's very "toy like", w/ hard, shiny plastic tires, very low detail wheels (in shiny chrome), and low detail plastic engine (more chrome! ) and cockpit parts. Are either of these even worth putting on ebay or are they best sent to Goodwill/Salvation Army? Thanks. gp
I have been putting a lot of my collection on Ebay, with mixed luck. Prices are not close to last year, and many normal models are just not selling even at give-away prices. It doesn't cost much, and if you want to get rid things, price them very low. Like start at $1, or $5. I sold the 1/14 Ferrari below for $80, but the brand new $60 Hot Wheels 612 won't sell even at $15. But you gotta try. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'd like the 126/c4.... What number is it? They did both cars and I didn't realize at the time I gave it to my infant son to cut teeth on...true story....
My infant son is currently wrecking 3 bburago 1984 testarossa's out of my 100+ 1/24 Ferrari collection. A red, a white and a dark blue one. I made the mistake of keeping them exposed in the garage and did not have the heart to say no (after a couple of hours of crying). Now it's my turn to cry when a bonnet breaks off or a windshield cracks. But seeing how much joy it brings him more than makes up for it.
Scott hurled a 1/18 across the room at his lil' sister at her 3rd or 4th birthday party, hit her squarely, splitting her forehead... Thank goodness my own sister was there as my In-laws freaked out...... She had just lost her 4 y.o. daughter, she just calmly cleaned Amanda up and put on a BandAid...
