Just out of curiosity, is she mechanically “sorted” and ready for the road or in the need of much ? Also, do you plan to maintain the coach work, etc “as is” or commission a complete/comprehensive restoration some day ?
She runs and drives well. I am going to go through all the systems just so I get to know her. Tubes, tires, lubrication change, cooling system flush, brake flush etc.I will know way more in a few weeks as to what it needs. As of now I am super happy with what I have found. Fingers crossed it stays that way. I am planning on keeping he as original as possible. Super solid bones etc I am very lucky she is a great always loved car. The plan is to drive and enjoy. Reads/sounds like an absolutely wonderful car and your plan for her is what I had hoped to hear/read. I too will keep my fingers crossed she'll lives up to your expectations and delivers plenty of enjoyable miles, which I suspect she will. As you might've noticed from my commentary over the years, although I make a living restoring old cars, I've personally always had more appreciation and interest (an obsession, if you will ?) in nice, unrestored examples, regardless of make/model/etc. Seeing a higher end, unique, specimen like this maintained as such is even more special in my eyes. Drive and enjoy her in good health and thanks for sharing.
