    After the great thread of the 312B3 started by our coleague, and seing the interest it caused, i decided to reunite images of old Ferrari testing, some very strange cars and solutions trhat in many cases never saw a real race.

    Interesting stuff here. I'd seen the photos of the T2 "dualie" and the T3 with skirts, but I'd never seen the ones of the T4 with a conventional front wing. Thanks for posting.

    This may be the never-raced 639, which appears to use the chassis of the F1/88 model. The 640 was the car actually raced in 1989.

    No, the 639 was very similar to the 640, but a bit narrower if i'm not mistaken, i'll try to find picture sof it.

    They really tried a lot of different intake designs on the T2. It's interesting that they were able to downsize the NACA ducts on the 1977 version as compared to the 1976 version with no apparent negative results.
