This past weekend, I went to the only auto swap meet of any size here in Arkansas. Several hundred venders, hundreds of cars, thousands of people. Of course, essentially nothing Ferrari oriented at all. But I did find one item for the bargain price of $8. It's a small digest sized book titled Ferrari Owner's Handbook. Not a specific model owners handbook, but a general overview of all Ferrari's at the time. The book was published and copyrighted 1960 by Floyd Clymer Publications, Los Angeles, Ca. Since this was 1960, over 44 years ago, I don't know if the publisher is even in business anymore. The book is extremely interesting with 174 pages of early Ferrari photos, factory photos, engine and wiring diagrams, etc. One of the more interesting photos is of a V12 Ferrari engine stuffed inside a Cunningham frame. Even a few shots of Enzo himself. Has anybody else run across this interesting book?

Well, for starters, that "Type 250 'Europa' Sports Coupe" sure looks an awful lot like 1951 340 America s/n 0082A ('51 Mille Miglia winner)!:)

Actually, the book was written by Hans Tanner and, depending on condition, currently sells for around $100-$200. Looks like you found a bargain.

I've wanted a copy of that book and they are rare. $100.00+ for a nice one is also what I've seen from online used book dealers. You got a deal there.

That certainly is a great discovery tou did there. It's exactly what I love to do, going to swap meets just looking for that one Ferrari-related item and taking your chance.

    Enjoy it!!
