Old man keys Hummer and gets caught on video

God some people are stupid.

 

No, the kid hasn't earned anything. I never said he had.

I was just making a crack at the old money vs. new money notion. What's so special about inheriting money and why is that supposed to be better than earning it yourself?

 

Channel 4 just reported Zorro with a key has turned himself in this afternoon. Someone get a rope.

 

James Andrew Jeppe, 72, turned himself in this afternoon on charges he vandalized a Carroll Senior High student's Hummer in the school parking lot earlier this month.

The incident was captured on video, which Southlake police released to the public earlier this week.

Tips following the video's release led investigators to Mr. Jeppe, who was released from Tarrant County Jail on $1,000 bond, police said.

$1k bond , the damage to one vehicle was $2k, but I guess he is not a
flight risk.

 

he looks pissed, but then again, i guess i would be too if i were in his position, he'll probably have to pay restitution, probably probation, but that's probably it for this case.

 

Maybe but he will be at the top of the "usual suspect" list for any vandalism in that area for the rest of his life. Plus, teenagers will be rolling his yard for the next decade.

The vehicles, he complained, "have a big carbon footprint and they use four times as much gas as the rest of us," according to the affidavit.

Detective K. Fulgium, who wrote the affidavit, also said Jeppe complained that Hummer drivers take two parking spaces and "park wherever they want."

If he loves the environment so much perhaps he should have thought about how harmful paint is to the environment and how much of the prep work involves chemicals. He himself is destroying the environment, not to mention the SUV now has to drive to a paint shop be picked up and then the owner has to be driven to a rental car lot and then drop that car off when he's done with it and then drive back to the paint shop and every time there is another car involved driving this owner to each location. Jeppe just cost this planet 9 years of life, what a prick!

 

Looks like the one he was caught keying is parked perfectly.

 

Part of his punishment should be 100 hours of community service, cleaning up freeway onramps with a pointy stick like the DUI's!
