Its interesting to see how many of the period photos show these cars with added Ferrari badges of one sort or another. Looks like the owners didn't waste any time making sure everyone knew they were driving a Ferrari.
Serial number 01626. Purchased direct from the Ferrari factory as brand new by Bill Mitchell of GM Design. Used primarily for package evaluation and design inspiration. Note the flares. Mitchell modified certain areas on the car such as the mirrors, front spoiler, headlamp covers, wheel paint and pinstriping. These images were taken by me in 1971. Clovis, New Mexico, 1977, 02984. Steering wheel rim had broken and temporarily replaced with another Momo. Just repainted since fender rusted through and black lower paint not yet added.
