Nice photos: 1 is still a mystery today. The car was based either on a 6CM- or 6C-34-chassis with a 6-cyl.-streight-six engine but without compressor. 2 and 3 is the Tipo 26 #1510, today owned by Hans Matti in CH. He found the car in Marocco in a backyard. Its a very original car! 4 no clue about Bianchi........ 5 yep - Gonzales! But not in a 4CLT - its a A6GCM, the fore-runner of the famous 250F. The chassis-numbers of those early 50ies-cars are puzzeling. Ciao! Walter
! yep, its Bonetto. He loved pipe-smoking and did that in many races. Even when his car got fire he escaped with his pipe between his teeth. 2. Yep, its a 2nd series 4CL 3. never saw this photo! Are you sure that its based on a 4CL? 4. Yep, Borcacchini in the epic 16-cyl.-car! This car was the monster he drove to speed-word record on the autostrada near Cremona. Only the engine survived unntil 1978 when De Tomaso ordered this historic motor to be scrapped! It was a shame!! Ciao! Walter
During the early 50s an unidentified Maserati Sport with a 2 liters engine and cycle fenders, took part in several races in Venezuela; can any of you, tell the year and type? The whereabouts of this car is unknown. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not sure - but it looks like a 4CS or CM that was modified to a 2-seater! But for sure this was not done by the Factory! Another candidate could be one of the monofaro-A6GCS, as the steering is on the left and the caption mentioned a 2000cc-car! Ciao! Walter
