I am Brit car fan. Still own a TR8. The Evora is a nice car. It is just not a GREAT car. Its most enduring quality is it is new and has a warranty. Non mechanical / old retired guys will like that. A guy I used to know has an Evore S. BOE mods, etc. Nice car. We would go on some drives. My 355 with the Fabspeed headers, high flow cats and Tubi Tube-Only was a touch faster on the entrance ramps. Beyond that they both turned heads. The 355 attracted the middle age crowd, men and women. The Evora had the teenage boys all a google because it is a car on Gran Torismo. The comparison of these two cars is an odd choice. One classic that is two decades old and a new car that is less than 12 months old. Ask them which car they SHOULD have bought 5 years form now
I test drove an Evora 400 and it is an impressive little car, light, good build materials especially for a Lotus, fantastic handling and it had a great roar. It's on my short list of possibilities for 2018
