One of the docs I work w/ brought a package of Slim Jim sticks into my office about 10 years ago & we decided to do a test. He ate one & placed the other on top of a book shelf. When I moved my office last week I found the Slim Jim coated w/ dust but pretty much as we left it. Amazing. But no, I didn’t eat it. However, I was tempted to - just so I could say I had. 1 year/10 years – what’s the difference? What have you eaten w/ no expiration date?

I stayed with a Candian friend who had lived in Australia for 15 years. On arrival he had bought Vegemite - sort of thing you have to do! Surprisingly he didn't like it so it just stayed in the cupboard!
When I saw it in the upboard I thought great - and promptly put it on my toast!:) It was a bit dryer than usual Vegemite so as I was eating I looked for the "use by" date... 10years earlier!

Nobody else has ever sampled woolly mammoth? Guess not many folks get that opportunity :) I didn't see any date on the beast, but I'm fairly sure it had expired quite some time ago...

I like Smucker's Jelly. So i asked my mom if we had, and she said yes.So i was :D
Since it was Smuckers and i pretty much liked it,i rushed eating my sandwich. Then to my surprise i looked at the label. Exp date : 2001 and it was 2005.It didn't taste that excellent but was great, though after knowing it was expired i started worrying/sad.My mom didn't notice. She kept telling me that Jelly doesn't expires,so i could calm down a bit.Nothing happened to me,but still i really really prefer not to eat expire food.

I once got intoxicated by eating sushi. It was an awful experience that lasted 2 weeks.I suffered an advanced Scombroid fish poisoning with rash and hives all over my face and my body.Every 6 hours they had to shot me adrenaline and intravenous corticosteroids to prevent an anaphylactic shock.Thankfully that was a year ago.
