I can't believe the MNF football game just now.

Poor Matt, the choked on this game, choked last week vs the Cheifs, and his last start before that USC choked vs Texas in the National Championship.

Poor guy needs a freekin catch a BREAK.

Unbelievable game. Can't believe they blew it! Leinart looked good for the most part, as did the AZ defense. Shame.

Ya thats the worst part, because it was really Matt's fault. In any of those 3 games really.

Leinart didn't lose it though...James lost the ball for a touchdown, Leinart got drilled due to a lineman standing and looking at the Bears defender balls instead of picking up the outside rusher, the speical teams couldn't stop the punt return, and the kicker missed what should-of-been a good field goal?

Yes exactly. Poor guy, I am really rooting for him, I think that in the next few years he will develop into a great NFL QB.

Leinart did nothing wrong. His oline sucks and his automatic kicker forgot to wear his kicking shoes today.

If you are a KNOWLEDGEABLE football junkie, you know the most important position on the entire team is the Offensive Tackle on the QB's blind-side/back-side. Your QB is only as good as his back side protection. Aside from the breakdown there, the O-Line wasn't terrible, pass-protection wise.

Rackers - I guess the odds will start catching up with him, he shouldn't have been forced into that position - two weeks in a row no less, but that's why he's paid the big bucks.

For the life of me, I don't understand why they kept giving the ball to James, what did he get ? 1.5 yards a rush ??

Chicago better find a running game or they will fizzle in the playoffs, but then again, in the NFC, who is much better, overall ?

No, the Cards weren't good. The Bears' D decided to actually play in the second half. How man batted down throws did they have? How many 3 and outs did they force? If the Bears defense played like they normally do from the start of the game, the Cards would maybe only get a FG or two. Didn't they get a FG in the second half only after the roughing the kicker penalty ignited the drive again and put them in good field position?

How about James averaging less than 2 yards on 37 carries. He rarely had any room to run. That O line does suck.

Grosman had a worse game than Leinart did. He had four interceptions I think and a fumble or two.

Leinart's an NFL n00b to put it blunty. He's a really good QB, maybe he did screw up but you can't blame him too much. He's new to it. He'll get better.

Leinart actually played a helluva game - and he experienced something he's never felt before - getting creamed and fumbling. Now he knows how Warner feels.....

Leinart didn't screw up any more than James did when he fumbled, or by 11 guys that couldn't stop a punt return.
He threw 2 TD passes, him and Bolden alone almost won the game.

when a quarterback takes his team with 2 minutes to go the length of the field against the best defense in the NFL and puts his team in a position to win the game...i would not call that choking. giving the ball to edge when it did not work all game seems ridiculous. punt return for a TD, sacked from the blindside when his tackle missed his blocking assignment (returned for a TD), a fumble returned for a touchdown following edge's first fumble in a year...that is not leinart chocking. his kicker chocked and his team sucks. maybe in 2 or 3 years they'll be hot. fact is, when it mattered, he dissected the best defense in the nfl...period. if he would have pulled a grossman and tried to launch a 40 yard bomb on the first play of that drive, under thrown it and had it picked off...then i would be calling for leinart's head on a stick.

I'm beginning to wonder if Denny Green has a little Bud Grant in him......

You do have to recognize one thing - the parity in the NFL is almost unbelieveable - except for da Raiders and da 49ers. Okay, and TN, Hou, Mia, Clv, GB, TB..... There are 18 bonifide teams that are capable of being in the Super Bowl, Indy has a bad defense, Chi and Denver have suspect offenses, and Arizona is NOT a 1-5 team....

I can't believe we pulled that game out. I don't know if it indicates a "team of destiny" to win one that way, or what. But I was definitely mo-fo' ing the TV all the way..

Diehard bears fan here (born in Chicago). The fact ARI only got 13 points on 6 turn overs was pathetic. Also, after the game I looked for the ARI average starting position. It was the ARI 48 yard line! CHI D was out there for almost 40 min. Looking at those stats, I would say the Bears D did great!

Grossman had the worse game, well maybe, Rackers, then Grossman :p

I expect to see some more running from CHI in away games.

    # The prolific Cardinal coaching staff has surprised us all by making the first commitment to the prevent offense.
