omg wtf !!1one1 how much does the interweb affect your real life?

stuff happens, mostly without our control.

however the associations we build with events are up to us personally.

here's a big fat "for instance" for ya...

a couple years ago i never knew or even cared about a song that wailed "I waaaant it thaaaat wayyyy", but just now, that song has come on the radio, and for some reason i can't stop thinking about two funny asian dudes and laughing my tits off....

 

in that sense yeah... most of my friends nowadays i've actually met through forums like this. my "traditional" friends i catch up with every couple months, my online friends i chat to several times a week and catch up with a couple times a month.

bizarre.

had i told my mum ten years ago that most of my friends were men i'd met on the internet..... hmm........
